Quakers at Marham Airbase

On 28th February 2026 a national CND demonstration was held at the main gate of Marham airbase, Norfolk, where new American nuclear-capable warplanes are expected to be based. A number of peace groups oppose this increase in nuclear capability. This was also the day that Israel and America launched attacks on Iran, bombing not only military objectives, but also a school and a hospital, killing over 150 civilians.
