In November, Norwich Quakers held their first fayre for some time. A successful collaboration between the Quakers, Meeting House User Groups: Singing Mamas, Singing with Soul, and a spinning wheel demonstration courtesy of Fiona from the Patchwork and Quilting Group. Norwich Men's Shed brough in hand made goods and Friends of the Earth had a craft stall on the theme of Warm Homes. We sold books, toys, plants, clothes, cakes, crafts, bric-a-brac and cards. Ipswich Road URC sold fairtrade goodies and cards for the John Aves Trust.

Musical Quakers collaborated with Friends and other musicians to enhance the entertainment whilst generous baked donations and endless cuppas were served by the Quakers in the Long Room. Wendy from North Walsham Meeting brought in a vegan cake.

Our Treasurers helped to keep the floats bouyant.

Everyone worked really hard to make this a great day, and truly it was, with all proceeds going towards the Norwich Meeting House building fund.
