Make 2021 the year you learn more about Quakers
2020 has been a year when many of us have wondered why? The pandemic, lockdown, furlough, redundancies and months with little if any opportunity to socialise has left many of us alone with our thoughts for too much of the time. But you have not been alone in asking yourself questions.
On Monday 4th January, between 7 and 9pm, you can meet others curious about the Quaker way of life and together, explore what it really means to be a Quaker. This will be the first of five weekly seminars, delivered via Zoom, called Quaker Quest. It's your opportunity to quiz Quakers who have volunteered to share their experience, motivation and often enthusiasm for their Quaker membership.
Session 1 on 4th Jan. - three Quakers will share their reasons for becoming Quakers Session 2 on 11th Jan - our Quaker Testimonies to Equality, Simplicity and Peace. Session 3 on 18th Jan. - Quaker views of God
Session 4 on 25th Jan. - our Testimony to Sustainability, Truth & Integrity & Quaker activism.
Session 5 on 1st Feb - a Q &A session.
